Memorial Day

It was a day of recognition for all the armed personnel serving around the world on behalf of the United States and its citizens. It is also a day of remembrance of the countless men and women who gave their lives for the ultimate sacrifice in defending our country and democratic ways.
Thanks to them, we live in a country where people strive for excellence and freedom abroad. I often feel thankful that we have the power and freedom to do whatever we want but it comes at a cost. We need to know how to appreciate what we have and stop complaining about futile things and causing more pain and suffering. Betterment of our lives in our community and character is not the highest priorities in our country and it should be.
